Private by design
Forge does not require an account and does not send your workout, profile or body data to a Forge-operated server.
Data stored on your device
Forge can store information you choose to enter, including your local profile, height, training goals, workout programmes, exercise results, weights, repetitions, cardio activity, session notes, exercise notes, personal-best settings and body-weight entries. In the current version, this information is stored locally on your device.
Data collection and tracking
Forge does not currently use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs or tracking systems. Forge does not sell personal information. Native features such as haptic feedback and local rest-timer notifications operate on the device and do not require your workout data to be sent to Forge.
Sharing and third parties
Forge does not share your app-entered training data with advertisers, analytics providers or other third parties. If you choose to export a backup or contact support, you decide what information to share and which external service or destination receives it.
Backups and deletion
Backups are created only when you choose to export one, and you control where the exported file is stored or shared. Local Forge data remains on your device until you remove it through Forge, clear the app's local data, or uninstall the app. Any copies you export are controlled by you and must be deleted from the locations where you saved them if you no longer want to keep them.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, Forge may schedule local device notifications for features such as the workout rest timer. These are scheduled on your device and are not push notifications sent by a Forge server.
Support correspondence
If you contact Forge support by email, we receive the email address and information you choose to include in your message. This information is used only to respond to or manage your support request and may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for that purpose. You can ask us to delete support correspondence by contacting the same address.
Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated before Forge introduces features that materially change its data practices, such as cloud accounts, synchronisation, analytics or other online services.
